Scottish Golf

As a member of Pumpherston Golf Club, you are automatically a member of Scottish golf, (formerly the SGU and SLGA). This is our National Governing Body for amateur golf.
They provide a wide range of services, including your handicap CDH number. They have a website and help populate Golf Central which promotes all the Open Competitions at golf clubs throughout the country.
Your CDH card entitles you as a member to enjoy reduced green fees on many Scottish courses as well as other benefits.

The Lothian's

The Lothian's Golf Association is our recognised local association or area. There are many areas within Scottish Golf and we form part of the 'Lothians' which organises golf events for gents and juniors. Information and events can be found on the Lothians Golf Association website

The Midlothian County Ladies

Midlothian County Ladies' Golf Association is committed to improving golf for Ladies within the county, and organises events for Ladies and Girls.Check out the Midliothian Ladies website for more information

Linlithgowshire Golf Association - Gents & Juniors

This Association is not an official association relating to the areas within Scottish Golf but is a central part in our fixture list. The 'Linlithgowshire' was founded in 1921 and is the collaboration of 14 golf clubs:

  • Kingsfield
  • Linlithgow

The Association organises competitions for Gents and Juniors which are held on a rota at the 14 clubs throughout the season for all handicap categories of player.

Good morning golfers Course setup is underway for today's play with the following restrictions: Preferred Lies , Fairway Mats after Orange posts, No Buggies , Temporary Greens There is a light frost on the course this morning with some temporary greens in play. Ground conditions are very wet in areas after yesterday's rain. Thank you
